Offerforge did it again. Today I was on one of my sites and the exit pop up had the offerforge banner on it. I never received an email or notice that the campaign had ended and it really pissed me off. What makes me cross more than anything is that they put their banners in there, instead of putting something similar.
Just shows you they actually have no respect for the affiliates, because they are just trying to promote themselves. We work hard for our traffic, so why the f—k must we now send it to them. Seriously I am so cross, you have no idea. Since the end of last year I have started promoting some of their products again after a long leave of absence from their network, and nearly every single one I choose is no longer on their system anymore.
They just have a shit load of gambling and insurance products.
Its a wonder why allot of us spend our time focusing on the international markets.
Really the South African Market is pathetic and I have really had enough of wasting my time and energy here.

Ah come on Offerforge. Why don't you inform your affiliates when you remove programs? We get emails from you all the time announcing new programs and payouts, but programs that reach their limit or are paused/deleted are even more important but no sign of those emails.
We do not want to log in to Offerforge on a daily basis to see if the programs we promote are still available. We either lose money on Adwords or other paid advertising, or we look stupid if we email our lists and the programs are no longer live (same goes for ads on our websites).
I know it's not possible to call each affiliate personally, but you do have our email addresses. I'm sure you even have most of our cellphone numers and an SMS system can also be used for urgent messages.
I'm not even surprised by this at all. Luckily I stopped promoting that campaign because I knew it was coming. Looks like the only thing they're good for these days is delivering empty promises
Ya – Its very frustrating and i am getting sick of it .
Sounds like *Someone* needs to invite an Offerforge manager to this blog…
I agree with you guys – customer service (from the affiliates point of view) doesn't seem to feature highly on their list of priorities.
I've also found their campaigns to be lacking diversity – which sucks. If I wanted to promote Casinos or Insurance products I'd sign up with the folks involved directly… oh wait… I have already… same level of affiliate service from them too.
Thanks for this, I will remember this for the future, have not tried anything in SA at this point in time. Always good to know. Any suggestions on who is reliable out here.
Bit of a cheek putting stuff up on your site and you can't control what they are up to!
I stumble upon your blog today… One thing I noticed is that your site have a very clean template with minimum adverts. I'd promotes international affiliate programs for about 4 years but never tried the South African market due to limited affiliate networks and other reasons such as the cost of hosting, bulk e-mail services, etc. The South African internet users conduct limited search on keyword which does not allow me to implement my experience gained over the above mentioned years.
Marketing using Cellphone/mobile as a tool will work well in SA.
